For the over 21 students at IUPUI, Chancellors is the place to be. The atmosphere is simple yet refined with bright lighting and an old-school bar kind of feel. Professional and students come to this watering hole for food and drinks or just to escape the food court. There is a bar to sit at as well as table dining (I recommend the bar) and there are multiple televisions for those who want to catch a big game. It is also worth noting that this is the only on-campus restaurant that serves adult beverages. Having a place on campus to just relax with a beer and study is superb. You do not have to be 21 to eat there, but you do have to be 21 to sit at the bar.
I stopped in at 5:15 on a Tuesday and at that point half of the tables had been taken. I decided to sit at the bar where there were also three persons sitting. That day Chancellors must have been understaffed because in addition to managing the bar, the bar tender was also serving tables with 1 other server. Even with the increased workload, the bartender was able to serve me promptly and take my order. My service at the bar was good and I'm not sure if I could say the same had I sat at a table.
The interesting fact about Chancellors is that they share a kitchen with another (larger) eatery and the two largely share the same menu. I ate rather simply and just ordered a burger since I needed to make sure I was at my 6:00 class. The party of three next to me did order mac & cheese that looked amazing though. The food was good but nothing to really write home about. I think that's because I got opted for speed rather than sitting and enjoying a meal. Next time I will order something that isn't as generic as a burger and fries.
Overall, this is a nice place to stop and get a bite on campus and I plan on returning. (especially on $2.50 domestic Tuesdays) -

If you only had one day left on earth, definitely spend it here because it feels like it takes forever to get your food and your bill :)
Pros: This is a great place (and the only place) to grab a drink on campus. They have specials throughout the week (including domestic bottles for $2.50 on Tuesdays). Food is pretty reasonably priced.
Cons: The food is not that great, it will take you a while to get your bill (especially if you are with a group), and the service is not always the best. -

I am from the IUPUI campus, Indiana, ordered food for the school events, no choice!! They have monopolized the university campus and only place to cater for campus events! The food doesn't taste good!! it's a rip off! I would give one star or less!!!

This is an on-campus "classy" restaurant at IUPUI located in "The Tower" residence hall, formerly a hotel located on campus. Inside The Tower is a dining hall for students - all you can eat at $8. But this restaurant is a bit classy and has meals ranging from $7-$15; most are around $9.
I got a side of chili - good, hearty, meaty.
I also got a chicken sandwich with Indian spices (forget the name) with mango and cucumbers on here. I forget the name but it was good. Came with spiral fries and a pickle - fries were nice and crispy!
Overall, I liked it. I only come here when my office is paying since it costs money, but honestly it's not very different from most restaurants - at least it is not a chain! -

This restaurant is very well kept and very clean! The whole atmosphere is very calm and collected, which I liked a lot when I first walked in. I ordered the club sandwich, which I found to be nothing special. It was not bad, but nothing made me want to come back with that sandwich. My coworker that went with me also had the bourbon burger, which was great! The glaze on the burger was excellent and I defiantly would recommend that to anyone who wants good food. Our service was good wither! Taylor was a great waitress and very nice. Overall, I think that Chancellor's wasn't bad but I will be trying other things on the menu to help spice it up a bit.
